Rain Rain Go Away

Rain, rain, go away,
Come again another day.

Rain, rain, go to Spain,
Never show your face again.

Rain, rain, pour down,
But not a drop on our town.

Rain on the green grass,
And rain on the tree,
And rain on the housetop,
But not on me.

Rain, rain, go away,
Come again on washing day.

Rain Rain Go Away! This is probably the perfect nursery rhyme to sing when the rain is pouring down outside. Rain Rain Go Away is a traditional nursery rhyme that was published in the 17th century or earlier. Since then, new variations of the song have appeared.

Rain

It’s pouring down rain, big puddles on the street,

School is out, at the bus stop the kids all meet.

The girls have red capes and carry umbrella’s,

Black boots and raincoats are worn by the fella’s.

At home I’ll change into my PJ’s made of silk,

Then Mom will give me some warm cookies and milk.

My Cats in The Rain

My cats in the rain,

Sitting on the step.

 I open the door.

She’ll come in I bet.

~*~
My cats in the rain,

Out in the street.

She needs to come in,

I’ll give her a treat.

~*~

My cats in the rain,

Her fur is all wet,

She’s starting to sneeze,

Now I’ll worry and fret.

~*~

My cats in the rain,

I think she’s got a chill.

I’ll call her in, get her fed,

Nicely then, I’ll tuck her in bed.
