The elephant is one of the largest animals on the entire earth Gigantic compared to other mammals right from their birth Above the African jungle arose this high pitched elephant call Inviting the thousands of neighbors to hurry come one and all
Very soft murmuring could be heard as they all circled around Not one pair of eyes could manage to stop staring at the ground Father then yells, look up, raise your heads high towards the sky Proud parents we are so we’re giving our child the name Butterfly!

Good day, I came across an image of a large elephant with big butterfly ears and it inspired me to write this poem. That’s how so many of my poem come to life.
